Valio

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 31, 2026

These terms apply to your use of Valio Life Assistant ("Valio"), provided by Ascensio Digital Solutions ("Ascensio", "we", "us"). By using Valio you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Valio.

1. The service

Valio is a personal AI assistant. It can brief you on your email and calendar, hold conversations by text or voice, remember facts you confirm, and, when you ask, act in the accounts you connect, for example by drafting or sending an email or creating a calendar event.

Valio is in a private pilot. It is available only to people Ascensio invites, features may change or stop without notice, and it may be unavailable at times.

2. Your account and connected services

3. Actions Valio takes for you

You authorize Valio to access your connected accounts and to take the actions you request or approve. Valio asks for confirmation before consequential actions such as sending messages. Please review what Valio proposes before you confirm it. You remain responsible for messages sent and changes made at your request.

4. AI output

Valio uses AI models that can make mistakes. Summaries, drafts and suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on Valio as your only source for legal, medical, financial or other professional advice, or for deadlines that matter.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Valio to break the law, to send spam or harassing messages, to access accounts or data without permission, to interfere with or probe the service's security, or to violate the terms of any connected service.

6. Your content

Your messages, emails, files and other content remain yours. You give Ascensio permission to process them only as needed to provide Valio to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Our property

Valio's software, name and design belong to Ascensio. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Valio during the pilot, and nothing more.

8. Ending use

You can stop using Valio at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end your access, for example if you breach these terms or the pilot ends. Sections 4, 6, 9, 10 and 11 continue to apply after that.

9. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, Valio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Ascensio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of Valio. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the City of Rio de Janeiro, unless the law of your place of residence gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, tell you before they take effect. If you keep using Valio after that, the new terms apply.
